Skywatch Friday

Well it rained on us this morning so I thought I would go ahead and post my skywatch post since we are waiting for things to dry out some. We got a late start to begin with but thought the rain was over so we loaded up and headed out to work.
Well on the way to our first account the skies were not looking so hot but, we figured we would try and get some work done.
Skywatch Friday

We managed to get the first lawn taken care of but then the lightening and thunder started up in full force and we had to quit. Hopefully it wont get to hot before we can get all this work done. Tomorrow the heat index will be close to 105?!

Skywatch Friday
We did get back home to find one very large tree branch broke off one the the tree's in the back yard and barely missed taking out our supply line to the house.
Make sure to check out other great Skywatch Friday photo's from around the world!

The sky always looks so much bigger in your pictures. I can't work out why?

Sounds like a wicked storm, Kathy. Glad that limb didn't cause any damage.

Hope you got some of your lawn maintenance work done... We had some rain today also.

Be careful working out there in the heat.
Hugs,
Betsy

Sunnymama and Yogi thank you. =)
Tricia in some parts of Oklahoma today it was near 110?! Saturday the heat index could near 109.
Scrap Girl LOL I have no ideal why the skys look so big. Maybe its the size of the pic. I post them at photobucket and copy them here so there are not the small pics that are uploaded normally to blogger?
Betsy we will be careful. We drink water constantly while out working. =)
Maria enjoy that cooler weather. You all will proably get hit with this hot weather soon. =)

Those are some pretty impressive skies! Today was our first day here this week with no rain and we're really happy about that!

As for parasailing, I've never been because it costs a bundle!

Great photos, wicked looking clouds. It must be an optical illusion but it almost looks like a funnel cloud in the first photo.
Take care,
Judy

We finally got some rain here this morning, Kathy. It really poured for a while. I don't know if it will be enough. We've been dry here for quite a time.

Daisy I don't think the rain we got the other day did us much good. It just raised the heat index up. Its still really dry around here. Glad you got some rain though.

You've certainly had your share of hot and stormy weather. We've had the hot weather but not so much rain.
